Who MySetMatch is for

A home for everyday players, competitors, coaches, organizers, and local sports communities.

One community, many ways to take part

MySetMatch helps people connect through sport: find players and places to play, arrange games, enter tournaments, follow results, share updates, book coaching, and buy or sell equipment. You can use the website and mobile app with the same account.

Casual and new players can find a nearby game and build a circle of friends. Competitive players can follow tournaments, match history, ratings, and rankings. Coaches can offer lessons and support player development. Club owners and organizers can manage members, events, and competition. Spectators and supporters can browse public events and follow live results. Equipment buyers and sellers have a dedicated marketplace.

Choose the sport and role that fit you

Use the sport selector to choose the sport you want to explore. Available sports and tools come from MySetMatch's current sport catalogue; the same account can have several sport profiles. Changing sports can change the players, events, ratings, equipment fields, and scoring tools you see.

Most people begin as players. Signed-in players can create invite-only tournaments; publishing public events requires organizer permissions. Running a club, coaching business, or the platform requires the appropriate access. Joining a club does not automatically make you a club manager.

Good to know

  • Use the options currently shown on your screen. Availability can vary with your sport, account permissions, app version, event settings, and whether a service such as online payments is enabled.
  • This wiki explains MySetMatch's features. The event's published rules and the policies shown when you register, book, or buy govern that specific activity.

Get started and sign in

Create your account, verify your email, complete your profile, and plan your first game.

Create your account

  1. Choose Create account on the website or mobile sign-in screen. Enter your name, email address, and a password that satisfies the form's requirements. Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  2. Continue to email verification. Open the message sent to your email address and follow the confirmation link or enter the verification code requested on screen. Use the resend option if necessary; check spam and confirm the email address is correct.
  3. Complete your player profile. Add the requested location and select the sports you play. You can add a profile photo to help other players recognize you. Fill required fields and choose Finish & Get Started in the app.
  4. Review your profile and privacy preferences, then choose a sport and look for players, a venue, or an upcoming event.

Good to know

  • A social sign-in button may be offered for Google, Apple, or Facebook on supported devices. A new social account may still need email verification or profile completion.
  • Allow time for a verification email to arrive. Use the latest code or link rather than repeatedly submitting an older one.

Sign in, recover access, and connect accounts

  1. Use your existing email and password, or choose an available connected sign-in provider.
  2. To sign in without a password, choose Email me a sign-in code and complete the email-code flow. To replace a forgotten password, use Forgot password? and follow the reset email.
  3. In Profile, open Connected accounts to review or manage supported sign-in providers. Use Change password to update your password.
  4. On a supported phone, enable Face ID, Touch ID, or biometric sign-in from Profile and complete the setup. If secure unlock expires or is unavailable, sign in using your normal account method.

Good to know

  • Use the same account across devices to keep your activity together. Do not create a second player profile just because you changed phones.
  • Never share your password, email sign-in codes, or reset links in chat or with support.

A useful first session

  1. Select your sport and add your city and playing information in Edit profile.
  2. Open Find players or Places to play, or browse tournaments in Play.
  3. Open an interesting player, venue, or event and read its details before sending an invitation or registering.
  4. Check Community for messages and invitations, and the notification bell for updates.
  5. Return to Profile to adjust privacy and notifications and open this wiki whenever you need help.

Your profile, sports, and progress

Keep your identity, location, sport profiles, equipment, and performance up to date.

Edit your player profile

  1. Open Profile and choose Edit profile or the edit action beside your identity.
  2. Update your name, photo, location, and the other fields offered. Choose country and state or region before city when the form uses a location hierarchy.
  3. Add or update the sports you play. Complete the available sport-specific fields, such as playing style, handedness, skill information, and equipment.
  4. Use the save action for the section you changed, and save the main profile when required. Wait for confirmation before leaving.

Good to know

  • A city helps location-based discovery even if you choose not to display it publicly. Player discovery uses city-level distance, not your exact live position.
  • Equipment fields vary by sport. If you want other players to see your equipment, check Show my equipment on my profile in privacy settings.

Understand ratings and leaderboards

MySetMatch ratings and official ratings are different values. MySetMatch tracks its own rating information; an official rating refers to a sport's governing-body or external rating system where available. Do not treat a MySetMatch rating as an official certification.

Open Leaderboard from Play and choose the sport and available filters. Open a player to learn more about their record. In Settings, the rating-system preference lets you choose MySetMatch or prefer Official where a player has an official rating.

Your Profile performance area and match History help you follow completed play, win rate, rating changes, and other available statistics. A different sport or filter can produce a different record.

Good to know

  • If a result looks wrong, open the underlying match and contact the organizer or scorer responsible. Changing a profile field is not a substitute for correcting a match result.

Player profiles, friends, and head-to-head

  1. Open a player from discovery, a leaderboard, a match, or a community post.
  2. Review the information they have chosen to share, their sports, results, and available actions.
  3. Use the friend, message, or Invite to Play action when offered. Messages depend on the other person's privacy and blocking settings.
  4. Use match history or head-to-head where available to compare previous encounters. Open the actual match for its scores and context.

Find players and arrange a game

Discover nearby people, publish availability, and respond to play invitations.

Find players near you

  1. Open Players Near You on Home to discover nearby players. Alternatively, Play > All play tools > Find players opens search; choose Players to look for someone by name.
  2. In nearby discovery, choose the sport and location or distance filters. Make sure your profile city is current and use the list or map to explore.
  3. Open a player card, read their profile, and use Invite to Play, a friend request, or messaging to connect.
  4. Agree on the date, time, sport, and place before travelling.

Good to know

  • Nearby distances are based on city-level discovery, not continuous tracking of each player.
  • If discovery is empty, widen the filters or choose another sport or city. A private or opted-out profile may not appear.

Browse available games and save an alert

  1. Open Find a game in Play. Use the list or map and filter by sport, time, distance, and skill where available.
  2. Open a posting to check when and where the owner wants to play and how many players are needed.
  3. Choose Send request, add an optional note, and follow the owner's response. If a different time is suggested, review it before accepting.
  4. To follow similar opportunities, open Game alerts and choose Save current search as alert. Manage your saved game alerts there; up to three can be saved.

Good to know

  • A saved game-search alert is separate from a saved marketplace search and the general Games near you notification setting.

Post your availability

  1. Open My availability from Play's tools or Availability in Profile's Player tools.
  2. Create a posting and choose its sport, start and end time, format, number of players needed, and optional level or notes. Select a venue or mapped meeting spot. Use Repeat weekly if you want a recurring posting, then review and publish.
  3. Other players can open the posting and choose Send request with an optional note. As the owner, Accept, Decline, or Suggest another time. The requester can Accept new time or Withdraw request.
  4. Manage your postings in My availability. Close or cancel a posting when it no longer applies, and use Post again when offered to reuse its details.

Good to know

  • Posting that you are available does not by itself confirm an opponent or reserve a court. Check the request status and confirm practical arrangements with the other player.

Send and respond to a play invitation

  1. Choose Invite to Play on a player card or open Play invites and create an invitation.
  2. Select the intended recipients and fill the activity details offered, including when and where you want to play.
  3. Send the invitation, then open its detail page to follow responses. A pending invitation is still waiting for a response.
  4. Open an incoming invitation from Play invites or a notification and accept, decline, or propose another time when offered. The organizer can confirm spots. If plans change, use the available cancellation or response controls and tell the other participants.

Good to know

  • A direct play invitation, an availability request, and tournament registration are separate flows. Check which kind of invitation you received before accepting.

Manage an arranged match and confirm the result

  1. Open the arranged match detail to check the players, time, and meeting point. Use directions or Calendar to add it to your schedule.
  2. Use the match chat to coordinate. I'm here records arrival where offered; I'm on my way can offer an optional location share.
  3. Use the available reschedule or cancel action if plans change. Check the updated status and notify the other participant.
  4. After eligible singles play, use Report result. The opponent reviews it and chooses Confirm result to lock the reported result and rating outcome. Other formats may offer Mark as played instead.

Good to know

  • A reported social-match result can require opponent confirmation. This is different from authorized tournament score entry.

Discover venues and check in

Find a place to play, inspect its details, and let friends know when you are there.

Find a suitable place to play

  1. Open Places to play from Play or a venue discovery card or map on Home.
  2. Filter by sport and location, and use the map or list to explore results.
  3. Open a venue to review its address, available information, photos, reviews, and linked activity.
  4. Use the directions action when offered and verify opening hours, access rules, and any booking or entry cost with the venue.

Good to know

  • A venue listing or check-in is not a court reservation. Confirm availability directly if a booking is required.
  • Map pins and nearby results may use approximate or listed coordinates. Use the venue's address and current instructions for arrival.

Check in, review, and contribute

  1. When you arrive, open the venue and use its check-in action if available. Grant location permission if that action requests it.
  2. Follow the displayed check-in status and end or update it when appropriate. Friends may receive a check-in notification according to their preferences.
  3. Add a helpful review or photo using the venue's contribution actions. Describe your own experience and avoid posting other people's private information.
  4. Use the add or edit venue flow when offered to submit accurate place information. Management actions depend on your permissions.

Good to know

  • A venue check-in and a live-location share in chat are different features. Check-in visibility does not mean you have started sharing a live route.

Play matches and follow live scores

Start a supported game, understand scoring access, and review match results.

Start a game and record scores

  1. In the app, choose Play > Go live to open Start New Game. Select a supported individual, set-scored sport and find the two players, then use Start Live Game.
  2. Review the participants and match settings before starting. Team fixtures and golf use their own screens rather than this two-player scoreboard.
  3. Open the live scoring or score-entry screen when you have scoring permission. Enter points or set scores using the controls supplied for that sport.
  4. Check both players' scores before saving or completing the match. Use an undo or correction control only where it is offered.
  5. Open the completed match in History to check the result.

Good to know

  • Watching a match does not grant permission to edit it. For individual and doubles tournament matches, eligible match participants, the event's organizer, or a platform administrator can enter scores. See Enter and correct tournament scores for the complete walkthrough and correction rules.
  • If the app loses its connection, reconnect and inspect the current score before sending more changes. Do not assume a failed or interrupted submission was saved.

Watch live play and revisit history

Open Live in Play or a tournament's matches to follow active games. Choose a match to see its current score and detail. A live view updates as scores arrive; it is not necessarily a video stream.

Use Profile > History or a player's match history to inspect previous matches, opponents, dates, and set scores. Use available sport or event filters to narrow the list.

If a match has not started or has no score yet, check its scheduled time and status. Ask the organizer about delays or disputed results.

Enter and follow tournaments

Find an event, register, manage invitations, and understand brackets and results.

Find an event and register

  1. In the mobile app, open Play > Tournaments. On the website, open Tournaments from the main menu. You can also open a tournament link shared by the organizer. Check the selected sport and clear any filters that hide the event.
  2. Open the event and read its date, venue, format, eligibility, capacity, registration deadline, fee, and organizer instructions. Make sure you can attend and that the event is accepting entries.
  3. Sign in with the player account you want to enter and complete your player profile if prompted. A public guest-registration link uses a separate flow described below; do not create a duplicate account just to enter an event.
  4. For an individual event in the app, use Register Now for a free event or Register with the displayed fee for a paid event. A doubles event shows Register for Doubles. Team events use Team entry instead; see Register a doubles pair or a team.
  5. On the website, choose Register now. If signed out, use Log in to register or Create an account first. Review the registration form, supply Phone number if requested, and choose Confirm registration for a free entry or Proceed to secure payment for a paid entry. A pending paid invitation can instead show Payment due > Complete payment.
  6. Provide the details requested by the registration form and review your entry before submitting. For a paid entry, review the total and follow the offered checkout flow. In the app this may open Stripe checkout; return to the original tournament afterward.
  7. Check the registration and payment status on the event page. If a mobile payment return is unclear and Check payment status appears, use it before paying again. A checkout window opening or closing is not confirmation of a successful entry.
  8. On the website, a successful free entry shows Registration confirmed; a paid entry should reach Payment successful. Processing payment means confirmation is still pending. Confirm that your name or team appears in the appropriate participant list and read any pending-approval message. Watch the event and notifications for your match schedule, check-in instructions, or further organizer action.

Good to know

  • In the mobile app, eligible free public events can accept guest registration through a public registration link. See Register as a guest without signing in. A received guest request is not the same as confirmed admission; ordinary website registration requires signing in.
  • If Tournament Full appears, the entry button is disabled. A closed deadline, a private invitation requirement, or an event that has already started can also prevent registration. Check the event details or contact the organizer rather than repeatedly submitting.
  • After confirmed mobile registration, Withdraw can replace the register action while withdrawal is allowed. Withdrawing and obtaining a payment refund are separate matters; read the event's terms and confirmation.

Register a doubles pair or a team

  1. For mobile doubles registration, open Your doubles team. If you already have a partner who is an available registered entrant, use Choose Partner (Optional), search for them, and select the correct person before registering.
  2. If no partner is available, you can register alone. Once registered, use Choose Partner if offered, or follow the organizer's pairing process. The partner picker searches available registered players rather than your whole friends list; enter at least two characters to search.
  3. Check the displayed pairing and Confirmed status. Before the draw is created, use Leave team where offered if you need to change the pair; this separates the pair without removing either player's registration. Tell the organizer if the draw exists, the event has started, or the control is unavailable.
  4. For a team-sport event in the mobile app, open Team entry or the Teams tab. The captain selects one of their teams for that sport and reviews its active roster and the event's entry requirements. Use Go to my teams if you first need to create or manage a team.
  5. When the roster meets the requirements, choose Enter this team. Resolve any displayed refusal, such as insufficient players, a player already entered with another team, or full capacity, before retrying.
  6. Check that the team entry shows Entered. Use Check in when available and required for the event, and confirm the Checked in state. The captain can use Withdraw team while the event permits withdrawal.

Good to know

  • A doubles pair and a team-sport roster use different registration tools. Creating a team or accepting a roster invitation does not itself enter the team into a tournament.
  • On the website, doubles registration offers Search partner for an available registered player, or you can register unpaired. Before the draw, Manage doubles team opens Save partner or Leave team. Leaving the pair preserves both entries; Withdraw registration is a separate action.
  • The website directs team-sport tournament entry to the mobile app. The captain should follow the Team entry steps above rather than use the individual registration form.

Register as a guest without signing in

  1. Open the organizer's public registration link in the mobile app to reach its guest form. The website's normal Register now flow requires signing in. Mobile guest registration is available only for eligible free public events that are Upcoming, before the deadline, and with places available. Paid, invite-only, or members-only events require their normal signed-in registration flow.
  2. Enter your first name, last name, email, country, and city. Complete any other requested eligibility information accurately; phone and skill information may also be offered.
  3. For a doubles guest entry, enter your teammate's first name, last name, and a different email address, plus any optional phone information. Check the location and participant details for both players.
  4. Review the form and select Register for a singles entry or Submit Doubles Team for a doubles entry.
  5. Wait for Registration request received. Keep the event details and check for the organizer's response. Received means your request was submitted; it does not guarantee a confirmed place or waive the event's eligibility rules.

Good to know

  • If you already have a player account, use that account for the normal registration flow so your activity stays together. Ask the organizer about a pending request rather than submitting duplicate guest entries.
  • If the form says the event is full, registration is closed, or you are ineligible, follow that message. Opening a public link does not override the entry requirements.

Invitations, QR codes, and event access

  1. In the app, open Play > All play tools > Tournament invitations to see invitations addressed to your account. Read the event details and choose Accept or Decline.
  2. For a free event, a successful Accept can confirm your entry. For a paid event, accepting creates a pending unpaid entry; continue to the tournament, choose its paid registration action, and finish checkout before treating the place as confirmed.
  3. If you received an invitation link or scanned a QR code, open it, sign in to the intended account if prompted, and choose Continue. For an invite-only event, follow the Tournament invitations screen to Accept; otherwise continue to the event's Register action.
  4. Check the event's registration status after accepting or paying. A link can grant access to an event without registering you, reserving a seat, or paying its fee.
  5. If access or acceptance is refused, check the deadline, event status, eligibility, and your club membership where required. An invitation does not bypass a members-only event's active membership requirement. Ask the organizer to verify the correct account and entry.
  6. If you need to withdraw or cannot attend, use the available event action and contact the organizer. Registration cancellation and payment refunds may require separate steps under the event's terms.

On event day: participants, brackets, and standings

  1. Reopen the event before travelling to confirm the venue and latest schedule.
  2. Browse Players or Teams to see entrants. Use Bracket, Standings, Matches, or My Matches when those tabs are available for the event format.
  3. Find your next match, opponent, court or table assignment, and start time in the event's published information. Follow organizer instructions for arrival and check-in. In the app, tap your match in My Matches to open its score screen; on the website, use Enter Result beside your match when offered. Follow Enter and correct tournament scores for the full scoring walkthrough.
  4. Follow live match details during play. After completion, inspect final results or winners, and use Tournament archive to revisit past events.

Good to know

  • Available tabs depend on the format. A team event and a singles elimination bracket will not have identical views.
  • If a bracket or schedule changes, use the latest event page rather than an older screenshot.

Enter and correct tournament scores

Find your match, save each game's or set's score, share live progress, and handle corrections on mobile and the website.

Find your tournament match and check scoring access

  1. Open the tournament you joined. In the mobile app, choose My Matches to find your own matches, or Matches to browse the event's matches, then tap the correct match. On the website, open My matches and choose Enter Result; this tab appears for registered players after the event is no longer Upcoming.
  2. Check the tournament name, stage or group, both players or doubles pairs, and the match's status. Score the scheduled tournament match rather than starting a separate game through Go live.
  3. Read the scoring rules shown for this match, including the target score, winning margin, best-of format, and any deciding-game or tiebreak rules. Different sports and rounds can use different rules.
  4. Check whether score inputs are available. For an eligible scheduled or in-progress individual or doubles match, a participant on either side, the event's organizer (including the owner of the club hosting it), staff with delegated score-entry permission for that event or its club, or a platform administrator can submit scores in the mobile app or on the website. Spectators can view the result but cannot score it.
  5. If your match is missing, check that your registration is confirmed and the organizer has drawn or scheduled it. If it opens as view-only, verify your account and ask the organizer about the match or event status.

Good to know

  • Cancelled tournaments are closed to score changes. Once a tournament is finished, a match that was never played can no longer be scored, but the event's organizer or a platform administrator can still correct a completed result. A cancelled or walkover match is not an ordinary score-entry task. If the host club is unavailable, scoring may also be blocked.
  • Having an Organizer role or a club staff role does not automatically let you edit every event's scores. A completed match has stricter correction permissions than a match still being played.
  • Team fixtures use their dedicated scoring console, and golf uses a hole-by-hole scorecard. Follow Team sports and golf for those formats.

Save a tournament score in the mobile app

  1. Open your match from the tournament's My Matches or Matches tab. In Enter Score, compare the displayed names with the players on court; the left score belongs to the left player or pair and the right score to the right player or pair.
  2. Enter the final score for the current game or set into the two score boxes. The app uses Game or Set to match the sport; enter that game's or set's score, not the overall number of games or sets won.
  3. Check the numbers, then tap Save Game 1 or Save Set 1, using the label shown. A finished, valid score is required. If the app says the score is unfinished or impossible, check the match's rules and correct it instead of forcing the submission.
  4. After a successful save, the score appears among the saved scores and the inputs advance to the next game or set. Enter and save each completed game or set in order. Do not add scores for games or sets that were not played.
  5. When a saved score gives one side enough wins, the app shows Match Complete! with the final overall result. Tap OK, then reopen the tournament's match or standings to confirm the recorded result. There is no separate final submission required after that successful completion.

Good to know

  • For example, if the displayed rules are first to 11, win by 2, best of 5, a finished first game of 11–9 is entered as 11 and 9. After saving it, the overall match score is 1–0; you still enter the next game's points separately. Use this example only when it matches your event's rules.
  • Typing numbers alone does not save them. Leaving with an unsaved draft can show a discard prompt. Confirm that a saved score or success message appears before moving on.

Enter tournament scores on the website

  1. Open Tournaments, choose your event, then use My matches > Enter Result. For a completed match, View Details opens its recorded result. An organizer can also open the event's Matches controls and choose Enter score or Edit score where available.
  2. In Edit Match Result, check the players, match context, and the First to, Win by, and Best of rules above Set scores.
  3. Enter both sides' scores in the first row. Use Add set for each additional completed game or set and enter the scores in playing order. The website's row label is Set scores even where a sport normally calls that unit a game.
  4. Review every row and remove an extra unfinished row rather than submitting an invented 0–0 score. Each submitted row must be a valid finished game or set, even when the overall match is still in progress.
  5. Choose Save match result. If the entered scores decide the match, review Match Complete and choose Save Result. Otherwise, review Match In Progress and choose Save Progress to record the completed games or sets so far.
  6. Wait for the save result, then check the match and tournament standings. To continue a match later, reopen the same match and preserve its existing scores while adding the next completed game or set.

Good to know

  • Typing in the website's match-result form can broadcast the current numbers to live viewers, but it does not save the result. Always use Save match result and confirm Save Result or Save Progress. A match can have saved progress without a final winner.
  • The microphone in the website's result form can fill both scores where speech recognition is supported. Use a supported browser over HTTPS, allow the requested permission, and review the recognized numbers before saving.
  • The website can save multiple completed rows together. The mobile app's normal editor saves one completed game or set at a time. Both refer to the same tournament match.

Use voice entry and broadcast a live score

  1. In the mobile Enter Score screen, tap Voice score if you want to dictate the current score. Allow microphone and speech-recognition access when requested, then say the two scores in displayed player order, such as eleven to nine.
  2. Review the recognized numbers in both score boxes and correct either number if necessary. Voice entry fills the boxes; it does not submit the result. Use Save Game or Save Set when that game or set is complete.
  3. To share an unfinished game's or set's current score, type its current numbers and choose Broadcast Current Game or Broadcast Current Set. Wait for Live score sent to viewers. Broadcasting progress does not replace saving the final score when play finishes.
  4. Use Show in Live Games when you want the eligible active match listed in Live Games. Keep using the same match to broadcast updates and save completed games or sets.
  5. After the match finishes, verify its final result. Voice and broadcast helpers are for active scoring; they are not the completed-result correction tools.

Good to know

  • Voice recognition uses English score phrases and depends on device support and permissions. If it cannot recognize the score, type the numbers instead.
  • Live scores share scoreboard updates, not a camera feed. A successful broadcast and a successfully saved final result are different actions. Enter a nonzero current score before using the mobile broadcast button; it will not send a 0–0 draft.

Correct a mistake or recover from a failed save

  1. For a match still in progress in the mobile app, tap the saved game or set that needs editing. Change its two scores and save it again. Editing an earlier score clears later scores from your draft, so read the confirmation and re-enter any later played games or sets in order.
  2. For an already completed match, ask the event's organizer or a platform administrator to correct it. The event's organizer means its owner, the owner of the club hosting it, or staff with score-entry permission for that event or club. A completed result can be corrected while the tournament is in progress and after it has finished; a cancelled tournament remains closed to changes. Being one of the players does not grant completed-result correction access.
  3. If you have correction access in the app, open the completed match and tap a saved score under TAP TO CORRECT, or use Correct Result if no scores are recorded. Edit the complete scoreline, using Add Game or Add Set and Remove Last Game or Remove Last Set if needed, then choose Save Corrected Result and review the confirmation. On the website, an authorized user opens Edit score and saves the corrected complete result through the match-result form.
  4. A correction must leave a complete match with a winner. If a knockout correction changes who won, the new winner moves into the next match automatically when that match has not started yet (for a semifinal, the loser also moves into the Third Place match); if that match has already started or been played, the change is refused. In a finished tournament, the champion is recalculated from the corrected results, and participants are not emailed again, so the organizer can send the results email to share them. Read any warning about group standings: an already-played knockout may need the organizer's attention. Do not attempt to fix this by creating a duplicate match.
  5. If the app reports that the score changed on another device, note any unsaved values, choose Reload latest score, and read the confirmation that the reload replaces your draft. Compare the latest saved result before entering another change.
  6. For a network error or interrupted save, reconnect and reopen the original match before retrying. Confirm what was actually saved. If the result remains wrong or read-only, contact the organizer with the event, players, match stage, and correct game-by-game or set-by-set score.

Good to know

  • A successful completed-result correction can trigger rating recalculation, so ratings may update later than the match score. Read the result message and check any bracket warning; it also says when a player was moved into another match or the champion changed.
  • Cancel Correction leaves the existing saved result in place. Do not leave a correction halfway through assuming that individual edited rows were already submitted.

Organize a tournament

Set up an event, manage entries and staff, prepare competition, and close out results.

Create and publish an event

  1. Choose Create tournament in Play > All play tools. Signed-in players can create an invite-only event; public tournaments require organizer permissions. Any club-hosted event requires permission to create events for that club.
  2. Choose the sport and complete the event name, dates, location, capacity, visibility, and description. Select the supported competition format and singles, doubles, or team options offered.
  3. Set registration and fee information where available. Review who may enter, registration deadlines, scoring settings, and any published participant instructions.
  4. Review the complete event before saving or publishing. Reopen the participant-facing details to check that the date, venue, format, and entry information are correct.

Good to know

  • Only use formats offered for the selected sport. Team fixtures and multi-entrant rounds do not use the same setup as an individual bracket.
  • If Create tournament or Manage is missing, check that you are signed in with the organizer account and have access to that event.
  • Team tournaments currently use free entry. Paid club tournament entries require the club owner's payment setup; follow the available fee controls.

Manage participants, payments, and competition

  1. Open Manage Registrations or Event Tools in your event. Approve, decline, or confirm entries as appropriate, add eligible players or club members, and send individual invitations or share the event's invitation link or QR code.
  2. Use the event's payment view to inspect registration-fee status. Record or reconcile payments using only the controls your event offers.
  3. Prepare doubles pairs, including Pair Players Without a Partner when offered. Draw the group stage, generate the knockout stage, or use the bracket editor as appropriate. Review seeding and entrants before starting.
  4. Assign staff or scoring responsibilities where available. Event Ops provides operational tools to authorized staff such as referees or volunteers.
  5. Monitor matches, resolve incorrect scores through the authorized scoring flow, and publish or review winners and final standings when the event is complete.

Good to know

  • A volunteer or referee can have operational access without permission to change every event setting.
  • Before removing an entrant or changing a bracket, read the confirmation and consider already-played matches. Tell affected players about schedule changes.

Run the event desk and finish the event

  1. Use Times & courts to assign starts and courts or tables. Review the day sheet; Lay out round can help schedule a round when available.
  2. Use the check-in desk to manage arrival and the staff controls to assign event responsibilities. Follow the event's permitted discipline and warning tools.
  3. Use Start, Finish, or Cancel only when the event is ready for that transition. You can extend the registration deadline where the event state allows it.
  4. Review tournament chat, results, and winners. Use results email or PDF tools when offered to share the completed event information.

Good to know

  • Each operation depends on event state and your delegated permissions. Read confirmations before replacing a draw, changing results, or ending an event.

Team sports and golf

Use the right tools for rosters, fixtures, clocks, and hole-by-hole scorecards.

Create or join a team

  1. Select a supported team sport and open Squads in Play to reach My teams.
  2. Use Create to make a team, enter its name, and review the squad. The creator becomes captain.
  3. Invite players through the roster controls. Invited players should open their team invitation and Accept or Decline.
  4. Check the roster and any Needs more indicator before entering team competition. Captains can manage positions, starters, substitutes, and captain transfer where offered. Open the team's fixtures or My team matches to find upcoming play.

Good to know

  • A team invitation is separate from a club membership invitation. Joining a club does not automatically put you on a match roster.

Follow or score a team fixture

Open the team match to view its participants, score, timeline, and events. An authorized scorer can open the dedicated scoring console and use the sport's clock, score, and event controls.

Enter events in the correct fixture and period. Follow the screen's guidance for starting, pausing, resuming, and finalizing play. If an update conflicts or another scorer changes the match, reload the current state before retrying.

Start and complete a golf round

  1. Select Golf and open Rounds. Choose Start a round, select a course, and choose the number of holes. Use Add a course if offered and needed.
  2. Open the round's scorecard. Select a hole for an editable card, enter total strokes including penalties, and record the penalty portion in Of which penalties. Choose Save hole; do not add the penalty count twice.
  3. Check that all required holes have a valid score. The leaderboard gives a position to signed, completed cards rather than treating an unfinished card as a low final score.
  4. Choose Sign for card when all holes are complete. Another entrant can Attest this card when offered; you cannot attest your own card. Use Did not finish or Withdraw when appropriate.

Good to know

  • Disqualification is an organizer action. Golf uses its own scoring and ranking rules; do not record a golf round through the individual racquet-game scoreboard.

Community posts and friends

Share updates, choose the right audience, and build your circle.

Read and publish posts

  1. Open Community > Pulse. Choose EVERYONE for the public feed or MY CIRCLES for posts from your private groups and clubs.
  2. Use the post composer and check the audience before writing. Add text and supported photos or video, then publish.
  3. Open a post to read or add comments, reply, and react. Tap a photo or video to view its media.
  4. Use your post's menu to edit or delete when those actions are available. Use report or block controls for inappropriate content.

Good to know

  • Public posts and group posts have different audiences. If a sharing option explicitly makes a post accessible to anyone with a link, read that notice before sharing it outside the group.
  • Wait for an upload to finish. If a photo or video needs review, inspect Content review instead of repeatedly posting the same upload.

Manage friends and requests

  1. Open Profile > Friends & requests or My circle > See all.
  2. Use Add friend or the friend action on a player profile to send a request.
  3. Review incoming Requests and Accept or Decline. Use Sent to check requests you have already sent and History where available.
  4. Open a friend's profile to message or invite them to play. Use the available friendship or blocking controls when you need to change who can contact you.

Good to know

  • A pending friend request does not mean the other person has accepted. Their messaging preferences can still limit direct messages.

Messages, calls, and location sharing

Stay in touch, coordinate arrival, and control what you share in conversations.

Start a conversation and send attachments

  1. Open Community > Messages and use the new-message action to search for a player, or choose Message from a player, game, lesson, or listing.
  2. For a group conversation, choose New Group Chat, enter a group name, and select at least two other members.
  3. Write a message and send it. Use Attach for the supported photo, video, audio-file, document, or location options. Grant only the permissions needed for the attachment you choose.
  4. Long-press a message on mobile, or use its message menu on the website, to see available reactions, reply, copy, forwarding, editing, information, and deletion actions.
  5. Open conversation options to inspect participants, report or block where appropriate, or delete or leave a conversation.

Good to know

  • Actions depend on the message type and whether you sent it. Official marketplace or system messages may not offer the same editing controls as your own text.
  • A community group or club has posts, events, and files. A group chat is a conversation; creating one does not create a club.

Make voice and video calls

  1. Open the conversation and choose its voice or video call action. In a group conversation, start a group call or join an active one when offered.
  2. Allow microphone access for audio and camera access for video. The other participant must answer or join.
  3. Use the on-call controls to mute or unmute, turn video on or off, switch available audio output or camera, and leave or end your participation.
  4. Where screen sharing is offered, use its share control and follow the device's broadcast or capture prompt. Stop sharing from the call or system control when finished.

Good to know

  • Camera, microphone, screen sharing, and incoming-call behavior depend on platform support and device permissions.
  • If a call connects without sound or video, check mute, audio output, permissions, and your connection. Rejoin if necessary. The live-score feature is separate from a video call.

Share a place or your live location

  1. In a chat, open Attach > Location. Choose a static place when you only need to send a meeting point, or the live-sharing option when you want the conversation to follow your movement.
  2. For a live share, choose an available duration such as 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours and follow location-permission prompts.
  3. Open the live map to see active shares. Stop your share when you no longer want updates sent; otherwise it ends at the chosen expiry.
  4. Use Request location to ask another participant to share. A request does not start sharing their location automatically.

Good to know

  • People in the conversation can see a location you send. Verify the recipients before starting a live share.
  • Location accuracy and background updates depend on permissions, GPS, battery settings, and connectivity. A stale map position is not proof that someone is still there.

Privacy zones, saved trails, and arrival

Open Profile > Location privacy to add a privacy zone around a place such as home. Search for an address or use your location, choose the zone shown by the editor, give it an optional label, and save. Within a zone, live sharing masks the exact spot; it does not hide all information about the surrounding area.

In Settings > Location, Save my location trail controls whether people can replay your route after a live share ends. Review this preference before sharing. Turning it off is not the same as stopping an active share.

Some arranged games and marketplace meetups offer arrival or I'm on my way actions. Check the wording and any sharing prompt before using them. A static location, an arrival check-in, and an ongoing live share reveal different information.

Clubs, groups, and events

Join a circle, participate in its activities, and find shared resources.

Join or create a circle

  1. Open Community > Circles to browse your groups, clubs, invitations, and available discovery options.
  2. Open a club or group to read its information. Use Join, request membership, or respond to an invitation according to its access settings.
  3. If someone shares a group invitation link or QR code, open it and complete the sign-in and joining steps. A pending request still needs approval.
  4. Use the group-creation action to make a private group, then enter its name and description and invite members. Club creation requires Club Creator access; authorized accounts can use Create a club in their workspaces or choose Club in the creation flow. Ask a platform administrator if you need this role.

Good to know

  • Private groups, clubs, and group chats have different purposes. Check the circle's membership and sharing settings before adding content.

Posts, events, files, and group chat

  1. Open the circle and use Posts for its feed, Events for scheduled activities, and Files for shared resources.
  2. Open an event to read its details and use its response or participation action when offered. Check later updates before attending.
  3. Open a file to view or download it using the supported controls. Upload only content you are allowed to share.
  4. Use Chat for the circle's conversation, and Members to see who belongs. To adjust alerts, open Settings > Push notifications and review New posts in my groups and Club announcements.

Good to know

  • Posting, event creation, file management, announcements, and membership changes depend on your role and the circle's settings.
  • Leaving a group can remove access to its private content. Read the leave confirmation before proceeding.

Run a club

Manage membership, staff, activity, and finances from the club workspace.

Open the correct club workspace

  1. Use your club workspace on Home or Profile, or open the club's management action. If you manage multiple clubs, select the correct club.
  2. Start with Overview or the dashboard to see membership, upcoming activity, and pending work.
  3. Open Members to review join requests; invite by player, email, link, or QR code; filter or export the member list; and use private notes or membership controls where permitted.
  4. Open Staff to assign available responsibilities carefully. A staff member should receive only the access needed for their work.

Good to know

  • Club management is permission-based. A member may see the club feed while having no access to its administration console.

Organize club activity and billing

Use Events, Matches, and Tournaments to manage the club's activities. A club tournament can be created in the club's context, then managed through its event tools.

Dues manages membership plans charged to your club's members and the payment ledger. Billing manages the club's own MySetMatch console subscription. These are separate charges. Paid dues plans and paid club tournament entries require the club's payment setup; subscription tier and permissions affect the tools available.

Reports and dashboard charts summarize available club activity. Open a chart where supported to inspect its series. Activity provides a history of management activity. Settings covers club identity, contact information, and courts. The mobile Settings page displays visibility and joining rules; edit those in admission settings on the website console.

Before sending an announcement or changing membership, billing, or staff access, review who will be affected. Use the confirmation and result shown by the console to verify the change.

Plan club sessions and protect access

In club Events, create a session with a title, schedule, and place. Use the available attendance, RSVP, time suggestions, voting, and results controls to coordinate members.

Invite-only, request-to-join, and public join policies affect how members enter the club. Review the joining rules before sharing a link, and use the website console's admission settings to change them.

Member suspension, removal, staff changes, and ownership transfer affect access. Confirm the correct person and scope before applying them. An inactive club subscription can pause management, and some tools require a higher tier.

Find coaching and track development

Book a lesson, manage packages or plans, and follow notes, homework, and video feedback.

Find a coach and book a lesson

  1. Open Play > All play tools > Coaching. Use filters such as Online, In person, or Bookable now to narrow results.
  2. Open a coach to read their sports, level, languages, credentials, services, prices, and reviews. Check the lesson format and location.
  3. Choose a service and See times, then select an available slot. If full, join the waitlist when offered; a waitlist place is not a confirmed booking.
  4. Review the booking, time, currency, and cancellation terms. Choose the offered payment method, free booking, package credit, or plan lesson.
  5. Open My lessons and verify the booking's current status. Complete Pay now if the booking still needs payment.

Good to know

  • Check both booking and payment status. A payment screen opening or a waitlist request does not mean the coach has confirmed your lesson.

Attend and manage lessons

  1. Open My lessons for upcoming and past bookings and your waitlist entries.
  2. Use Message coach to coordinate details and Calendar to add a lesson when available.
  3. For an online lesson, use Lesson call or Join link at the arranged time. For an in-person lesson, follow the agreed location details.
  4. Use Reschedule or Cancel where offered and read any fee or credit consequences before confirming.
  5. After the lesson, open Coach note or Film room and leave a review when eligible.

Good to know

  • Tell your coach about a late arrival or technical problem through the lesson's conversation. Follow the cancellation rules shown for your booking.

Packages, plans, notes, and film

A package provides a number of lesson credits under the coach's stated conditions. Review the number of lessons, eligible services, validity, and remaining credits before buying or using one.

A plan is a recurring subscription when offered. Read its price, renewal schedule, included lessons, and cancellation terms before subscribing. Use Cancel renewal to manage future renewals; inspect the resulting status rather than assuming it cancels every existing booking.

Open Coaching > My lessons > My development for lesson notes, skill feedback, homework, and video work. Open the related lesson or coach to follow the context. In Video analysis or Film room, upload supported footage and use time-linked comments to discuss a specific moment.

Good to know

  • Lesson notes and film belong to the coach-player learning flow. Avoid uploading footage you do not have permission to share.

Work as a coach

Apply, set up your services and availability, and manage students and earnings.

Apply and set up your coaching profile

  1. Open the Become a coach action in Coaching and complete the application offered.
  2. Provide accurate sports, experience, credentials, teaching details, and profile information. Check the application status; full dashboard access requires approval.
  3. After approval, open Coach dashboard. Set up services with their format, duration, price, capacity, and location or online details as supported.
  4. Set your available hours or slots and review the schedule from a student's perspective. Configure packages and recurring plans only if you intend to offer them.
  5. Complete payout setup when required for paid services, using the secure provider flow. Review any outstanding requirements before expecting payouts.

Manage your schedule and students

The coach workspace includes Overview, Schedule, Earnings, Services, and Availability. Review booking requests and take the available accept, decline, reschedule, or cancellation actions.

Open a booking to message the student, join an online lesson, record its outcome, and add a lesson note. Use skill feedback, homework, and film comments to make next steps clear.

Check Earnings for payment and payout information. A booking total, available balance, and a deposit into your bank are different statuses; use the displayed records and provider details to understand each one.

Keep availability current and update your service information before students book. If an action fails, refresh the booking or payout state before retrying.

Buy and sell equipment

Find gear, save searches, negotiate offers, and complete local transactions.

Find gear and save useful searches

  1. Open Market in the app or Marketplace on the website.
  2. Search for an item and filter by the available sport, category, condition, price, location, distance, or fulfillment options. Choose the sort order that fits your search.
  3. Open a listing and inspect its photos, condition, description, price, location, fulfillment, and seller profile or reviews.
  4. Save an item to revisit it in Saved gear. Save a filter set in Saved searches & alerts to track matching listings, and manage its alert settings.
  5. Use the list or marketplace map to explore results. The map represents loaded results and may use approximate city locations.

Good to know

  • Compare the actual listing details. Price guidance and seller badges are useful context, not a guarantee that an item suits you.
  • Check marketplace notification settings for saved-search and price-drop updates. If nothing matches, clear filters or widen your search area.

Message, make an offer, and arrange pickup

  1. Open a listing and choose Message seller to ask about condition, included parts, or availability.
  2. Choose Make offer when available, enter the amount and an optional message, and send it. Follow the offer's status in the listing or conversation.
  3. If accepted, confirm the reserved item and agreed terms with the seller. An accepted offer does not by itself mean payment has been completed.
  4. For local pickup, use the meetup planning tools in the listing conversation when available. Choose an appropriate public venue and agree on a time.
  5. Inspect the item and complete the agreed transaction. The seller records the sale through Mark sold, and an eligible buyer can review the seller after completion.

Good to know

  • Do not send passwords, card details, or verification codes in a chat. Use the supplied payment flow if making an in-app shipped purchase.
  • Payments made outside MySetMatch are not covered by MySetMatch's shipped-purchase protection. A chat promise is not a protected order.

Create and manage a listing

  1. In the app, open Market > Sell gear to create a listing. Use My market > My listings to manage existing listings. On the website, use Marketplace > Post a listing.
  2. Enter an accurate title, price, category, condition, and available brand, model, sport, and description fields. Add clear photos, including wear or damage.
  3. Choose the correct location and fulfillment options, then review and publish the listing.
  4. Open incoming offers and Accept or Decline. After accepting, follow the reservation state; release a reservation if the deal will not proceed.
  5. Use Edit to keep information current, Mark sold when the transaction is complete, and the available renew, duplicate, or relist tools for older inventory.

Good to know

  • Listings can expire after 60 days. Check reminders and My listings if an item stops appearing.
  • If online shipping is enabled for your listing, complete seller payment setup and shipping terms before expecting a buyer to check out.

Shipped orders and payment status

Use online checkout when offered, track delivery, and report order problems from the order page.

Buy with shipped-item checkout

  1. Open an eligible shipping listing or accepted offer and choose Review shipping checkout when it is offered. Online checkout may not be enabled for every seller, item, or region.
  2. Review the item, delivery address, item price, shipping, tax, total, delivery terms, and Shipped purchase rules. Accept the required terms and continue through the secure payment flow.
  3. Return to MySetMatch and open Shipped orders or the order detail. Confirm the payment status before attempting payment again.
  4. Follow tracking and delivery updates from the order page. Use the displayed cancellation action if eligible; label creation and carrier acceptance are different stages.
  5. After delivery, inspect the item before choosing Accept item and release payment. Read the confirmation because acceptance closes the normal inspection window.

Good to know

  • The current shipped-purchase flow is designed for eligible U.S. domestic shipments in USD. The checkout and order page determine which options are actually available.
  • A seller marking an item sold is not verification that a shipped order was delivered. Check the order's verified delivery and payment state.

Sell and ship an eligible order

  1. Open Seller payment setup and complete the provider's required account steps when shipped checkout is enabled.
  2. Set shipping details and review the seller fee and estimated proceeds before agreeing to the sale.
  3. Wait for the order to show successful payment. Ship to the checkout address using the tracked service and deadline required by the order.
  4. Arrange tracked shipping with your carrier, then use Add tracking on the order to enter the required details. Make sure the carrier actually accepts the parcel; creating a label is not shipping.
  5. Follow delivery, inspection, and release status. Respond promptly if the buyer opens a claim or support requests information.

Good to know

  • Seller proceeds can be held through delivery and inspection. Release eligibility, transfer to a payment account, and arrival in a bank are separate events.
  • Use the Shipped purchase rules and the order's current deadlines for fees, transit responsibility, returns, and payout conditions.

Report a problem, return, or refund

  1. Open the affected order. For an eligible issue, use its claim or problem-reporting action before accepting the item or the displayed inspection deadline.
  2. Describe the problem and provide relevant photos, tracking information, listing details, and messages. The order page shows the available evidence and response controls.
  3. Follow the claim status. A timely eligible claim pauses payment release while it is resolved; a report does not itself mean a refund has already been issued.
  4. Review any proposed resolution before accepting. For an approved return, follow the provided tracked-label instructions and deadline.
  5. Check the order's refund status and original payment method after approval. Contact support from the order context if the displayed outcome is unclear.

Good to know

  • For a missing shipment, follow the non-delivery timing and reporting option shown on the order. Do not mark an item accepted just to dismiss a reminder.
  • Read the current Shipped purchase rules for eligibility and deadlines. The general Refunds page and a particular tournament or coaching policy may apply to different types of payments.

Use the MySetMatch assistant

Ask for help, find relevant activity, and review suggested actions.

Ask a useful question

  1. Open Profile > Player tools > Assistant, or the assistant entry offered on the website.
  2. Try a suggested prompt such as Find a game, Show my upcoming tournaments, Help with this page, or Help me improve at my sport.
  3. Add useful context: your sport, what you are trying to do, the event or club involved, and any location or time preference.
  4. Open the relevant result card or suggested destination and check the actual page details before making plans.

Good to know

  • The assistant can help you navigate and prepare a supported action. It can make mistakes and cannot give you permissions your account does not have.

Review before confirming an action

Some requests produce a draft or action preview. Read the people, event, response, and other details before using its confirmation button. A tournament draft still needs your review and submission in the builder.

A preview with a confirmation requirement has not submitted the action yet. If the preview expires, request a fresh one. If the outcome is unconfirmed after a connection problem, inspect the destination's current status before retrying.

Use the available stop, retry, regenerate, or new-conversation controls if an answer is interrupted or you want to start again. Avoid including passwords, payment-card details, or other unnecessary private information in a prompt.

Privacy, notifications, and safety

Choose who can find or contact you and control your alerts, uploads, and app appearance.

Set your privacy preferences

  1. Open Profile's settings control to reach Settings. Review the Privacy section.
  2. Choose whether to appear on leaderboards and, when offered, whether to appear in player discovery. These can be separate preferences.
  3. Choose whether your city and equipment appear on your profile. Use Allow messages from anyone to decide whether direct messages can come from anyone or only friends.
  4. Review Location privacy and Save my location trail separately if you use live sharing.
  5. Check your player profile after making changes so you understand which information you are choosing to share.

Good to know

  • Hiding your city on your profile is a different choice from being discoverable by city-level distance. Review both controls.
  • Settings may be saved as you change them; wait for success and retry if an error is shown.

Choose useful notifications and appearance

In Settings, review Email notifications and Push notifications separately. Available categories include tournaments, match results, comments, reactions, direct messages, club activity, friend requests and check-ins, play invitations, nearby games, and marketplace updates.

Set a discovery radius where offered and confirm your profile location. Manage saved-search alerts in the relevant discovery screen. The Profile Email notifications switch controls all email categories together; use Settings for individual categories.

Show notification previews controls names, photos, and text in new message and activity alerts. Calls and existing notifications may be unchanged. Device notification permissions and operating-system settings also affect what appears.

Choose System, Light, or Dark for the app's appearance. System follows your phone's theme setting. Use the website's theme control for its appearance.

Good to know

  • Muting push notifications does not necessarily remove an item from your notification inbox. Open the relevant invitation or activity page to check its actual status.

Report, block, and review uploads

  1. Use the relevant post, listing, profile, or conversation menu to report content or behavior. Choose an accurate reason and include useful context when requested.
  2. Block a user through an available block action if you want to restrict contact. Open Profile > Blocked users to review or remove blocks.
  3. For a photo or video that was rejected or held for review, open Profile > Content review to read its status and explanation.
  4. Use the review-request action if offered and you believe the upload decision is wrong. Wait for its outcome instead of repeatedly submitting the same material.

Good to know

  • A report is a request for review, not an immediate guarantee that content will be removed.
  • For event scoring or attendance issues, contact the organizer. For an order problem, use the order's claim flow so it stays linked to the transaction.

Payments and account management

Find your records, understand pending states, and manage or close your account.

Find the right payment record

Profile > Player tools > Payments opens your payment history. For the full context, also open the related tournament, lesson, membership, or shipped order.

Check the amount, currency, date, and status. Pending, paid, refunded, and failed describe different outcomes. A booking or registration can have an approval status separate from its payment status.

If a payment return page is interrupted, reopen the original order or booking before trying again. Keep the reference or receipt and contact support if you cannot determine the result.

Refund rules vary by activity. Read the specific booking, tournament, membership, or Shipped purchase rules and the general Refunds policy. Cancelling participation and receiving a refund are not always the same action.

Keep account access secure

Use Change password and Connected accounts in Profile to maintain your sign-in options. Make sure you have a working way to sign in before removing a linked provider.

Biometric sign-in is configured on the device. If a phone is shared or you no longer want secure unlock, review that device's biometric sign-in setting and log out.

Log out ends your current app session. It is different from deleting your MySetMatch account.

Delete an account

  1. Open Profile > Danger zone > Delete account only when you intend to permanently close it.
  2. Read the deletion explanation, including what is removed, anonymized, or retained.
  3. Type DELETE and provide the requested password or linked-provider verification. Complete the final confirmation only after reviewing it.
  4. Wait for completion and sign-out. Contact support if the screen reports an unresolved issue.

Good to know

  • Deletion cannot be undone. The app explains that identity is anonymized, posts, comments, and memberships are removed, and login credentials are deleted.
  • Match results remain on opponents' records as Deleted player to preserve their history. Refer to the Privacy Policy for retention details; do not assume every historical record disappears.

Troubleshooting and support

Resolve common problems and send the team enough detail to help.

I cannot find an event, player, club, or item

  1. Check the selected sport and clear restrictive location, date, price, category, or other filters.
  2. Confirm you are signed into the intended account. Private events and groups can require an invitation, approved membership, or a particular role.
  3. Refresh the page or list and check your internet connection. Open a fresh invitation link if an older one has expired or been revoked.
  4. For a specific event or club, ask its organizer to verify your access. Use Contact for a persistent app or account issue.

Good to know

  • An empty list can mean there are no matching results. A Retry or error message means loading failed and should be handled separately.

A message, upload, call, or map is not working

For sending or loading problems, check your connection and any error on screen. Refresh or reopen the relevant item and inspect its status before submitting the same action again.

For attachments, confirm photo, camera, or file access and follow supported file limits shown by the picker. For a moderation hold, inspect Content review.

For calls, verify microphone and camera permissions, mute state, audio output, and the network connection. Device power-saving and background restrictions can affect incoming calls and location updates.

For maps, verify location permission and the selected city. Approximate location permission can reduce precision. You can browse by location filters without assuming your live GPS position is being shared.

Update the app through your device's app store when an older version is missing a supported feature. If the app and website look different, follow the actions available on the platform you are using.

A score, booking, or payment looks wrong

Open the original match, lesson, event, or order and record its current status. A notification can be older than the underlying record.

For a match score, contact the authorized scorer or organizer. For lesson timing, message the coach. For a shipped item, use the order's problem-reporting action before the applicable deadline.

If a save or payment was interrupted, do not assume failure or success. Reload the record and contact support if it remains unclear. Include the reference, time, and what you expected to happen.

Contact the MySetMatch team

  1. In the app, open Profile > Support & legal > Contact. On the website, open Contact from the footer.
  2. Enter your name, a working email address, an optional subject, and a clear message.
  3. Describe the screen, the steps you took, what you expected, and what happened. Include relevant event, booking, order, or match references, your device or browser, and the approximate time.
  4. Send the message and wait for the success notice. If sending fails, keep your description and retry when connected.

Good to know

  • Do not include passwords, one-time codes, complete card numbers, or unnecessary private data.
  • The footer and Profile also link to About, Rules, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Refunds. Review these when you need the platform's published policies.
