Tournament rules and format
Group stage
- Players are divided into groups based on skill level
- Each player plays against all others in their group (round robin)
- Group matches are best of 5 games to 11 points
- Top 2 players from each group advance to knockout stage
- Standings are ordered by matches won, then game difference (games won minus games lost), then point difference (points scored in games, minus points conceded)
- If two players are level on all three, both rows are marked Tied above. The bracket is settled automatically so it is repeatable, and the organiser can adjust it before the knockout is played
Knockout stage
- Single elimination format
- Group winners play against runners-up from different groups
- Knockout matches are best of 5 games to 11 points
- Finals and 3rd place match are best of 7 games
- Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers
- Consolation matches available for players eliminated in group stage
